PetSavers is the fundraising and grant awarding arm of BSAVA, aiming to drive excellence in veterinary practice to improve the health and welfare of small animals.

We award grants to researchers in universities, practices and research organisations enabling veterinary professionals to advance clinical investigations into the problems associated with pet animal medicine and surgery.

This collection provides information on PetSavers research and how to apply for grants and funding.

Socialising a puppy is a crucial part of his or her upbringing: dogs who, as puppies, are introduced correctly to a wide range of people, animals, sights, sounds, smells and experiences are more likely to behave appropriately and not be anxious or fearful.

Tick-borne disease has long been a risk to pets and human populations. Whilst there are only two tick-borne diseases currently considered endemic in the UK, the increase in dogs being imported into the UK, as well as the changing climate, brings a risk of non-endemic tick-borne diseases becoming endemic, creating new challenges for vets. This collection brings together resources on ticks and tick-borne diseases.

In addition, the BSAVA has a Q&A for pet owners, which has been written for vets to pass on to their clients, available here.

The BSAVA Webinar Library is an archive of our popular Learn@Lunch webinars and other webinars.  Learn@Lunch webinars and most other webinars will be freely available to BSAVA members.  If you are not a member, you can join BSAVA or you can subscribe here to receive 12 month access to the webinars.  Please note that webinars will be removed three years after their first broadcast date, but new webinars will be added monthly and your subscription will give you access to these. The BSAVA Formulary is the indispensable guide to drugs used in veterinary practice. BSAVA members have access to both parts of the Formulary as part of their membership benefits. Non-members may use this page to purchase a 12-month ‘Formulary Plus’ subscription, which includes part A covering cats and dogs, part B devoted to exotic pets, and access to our client drug information leaflets. The 12-month access will include any updates published during the subscription period. This is an online-only product, there is no PDF download. Please note that buying this product DOES NOT give access to the BSAVA App version of the Formulary. Printed copies of both parts of the Formulary can be purchased from the BSAVA store.
