Please note. The new version of the BSAVA/SAMSoc Guide to Responsible Use of Antibiotics: PROTECT ME is now available here.
Practices can institute their own guidelines for antibacterial use, taking into account the animals that the practice typically sees and the conditions commonly encountered. The PROTECT ME poster (see PROTECT ME section above) can provide a useful way to record the agreed practice policy.
