Clinical conundrum
Intermittent haematochezia and polyuria/polydipsia in a young Bichon Frise Consideration of a Bichon Frise presenting with a history of mild intermittent haematochezia and recent polyuria and polydipsia accompanied by increased water intake. Fresh blood was present in faeces and marked erythrocytosis was noted. Diagnosis and treatment are described.
