Clinical conundrum
A case of progressive abdominal distension and jaundice 
A 6-year-old Bichon Frisé presented with a 1 week history of progressive ascites and a 4 week history of weight loss. Three weeks earlier he was hospitalised for vomiting and collapse. The diagnosis and treatment of a ruptured biliary system is described.
