Clinical conundrum
A case of melaena in an 8-year-old Labrador Retriever An 8-year-old Labrador Retriever presented with a 24 hour history of lethargy and inappetance. The faeces were dark, and weight loss had been detected over previous months. Meloxicam had been given 3 days prior to presentation following an injury to the tail. The diagnosis and treatment of IBD are described.
