A case of alopecia, crusts and pruritis in a young Great Dane Authors: Tim Nuttall and Ana MafaldaA 1-year-old Great Dane presented with alopecia, crusts and pruritus. She was otherwise well. Pyoderma caused by Staphylococcus pseudintermedius was diagnosed and treated but a meticillin-resistant strain was found to be present. The complications and subsequent treatment are described.
