Abstract
Welcome to the BSAVA science webinar series – taking a closer look at some of the papers published in the Journal of Small Animal Practice (JSAP). In this webinar, Luisa Dormer (Scientific Editor at the BSAVA) and Nick Jeffery (Editor-in-Chief of JSAP) are joined by Karen Humm and Alice Le Gal to discuss their paper Xenotransfusion of canine blood to cats: a review of 49 cases and their outcome. The paper describes the use of a xenotransfusion protocol and the outcome of xenotransfusion in recipient cats. This webinar discusses the research in more detail, focusing on the practical application to clinical practice.
