The BSAVA has put together some advice to help backyard poultry owners protect their birds from avian influenza. This short collection draws together some of our existing content relating to both avian influenza and backyard poultry keeping to provide further guidance on the topic.

End of life - introduction
Euthanasia is a very common procedure, but one which brings with it a unique set of challenges for clients and veterinary professionals alike. Setting aside the procedural aspect for the moment, the collection focuses on this important topic from a pastoral point of view, which is less frequently considered. This introductory collection draws together a selection of general materials. Links to more in-depth collections focusing on client communication, client support and practice support are available via this introductory collection. Access to these additional resources is complimentary upon purchase of the introductory collection. Updated November 2022 to include a chapter from BSAVA Manual of Practical Veterinary Welfare.
